Champions Online Question.

I got into the CB for the F2P awhile back and the fact that they now force their shitty archetypes totally ruined the game, pretty much everyone has the same kind of powers and movesets. Really disappointing.

It's going to be worse once the F2P launches, they're making so many restrictions than there already are in the CB. I think Free members only get like 2-3 travel powers, Silver gets 1-2 more, and gold gets all of them. I don't remember which powers go where but even then, it kills the pvp.

Last I checked, free members get the basic flight, super speed, and super jump.

Every other travel power in the game is a variation of either super jump or flight, which the exceptions of teleport and acrobatics.

Yes, that means Earth FLIGHT is a variation of FLIGHT, as is HOVER disk. Ice Slide is unique, but nobody takes that anyway >_>

Travel powers does not matter to me, I'm okay with acrobatics which I believe is one of the silver travel powers. Teleport is also a silver power if I'm not mistaken.

Lower customization, especially stat customization is a downer for me.

But, I believe there will be separate PvP for archetypes so there is fairness in that regard.

Nope, Cryptic is milking this game dry like the jerkfaces they are. The majority of the good stuff is for Gold members only.

Been playing champions online for awhile and my only real complaints is no auto deny dual option and that you have to relogin to get on another character. These are basic functions in most mmos and should be implemented.

Free to play has resurrected alot of mmos including lord of the rings. So dont count out champions online just yet.

Personally right now it has a helpful and good community. I dont see that often in mmos. And prolly wont again for awhile.

lols, you still believe that "We are the consumer, and thus WE are the ones calling the shots and the developers should be GRATEFUL we're here and should listen to EACH AND EVERY LITTLE THING WE SAY because if they don't WE'LL QUIT AND TAKE OUR MONEY ELSEWHERE!" crap?

You should take a look at WoW. If Blizzard fell into that stupid "Customer is always right" attitude the game would be TERRIBLE.

I sure do! Cryptic isn't Blizzard so they can't afford to turn a deaf ear to their customers. Cryptic is trying to pull in a new customer base so a wise business would do well to listen to their new customers. The subscribers are negligble because they already got their money and lifetimers are especially ignored because they payed upfront. It enough new people aren't satisfied with Cryptic's new f2p method then Cryptic will have to change the game according to demand or otherwise CO will go bye bye.
