How come when it comes to blaming game for issues

I wouldn't blame Facebook if people can't control their own will power.

I also haven't heard of any facebook baby neglect cases so I'm not sure.

It's really hard to add sarcasm to a parcially true statement, but most of my post was just BS.. It just bugs me that I never thought to combine those most simple of things into a site and make ****ing billions of dollars, yes I am jealous.. but not because Mark Zuckerberg is a genious. No, It's because honestly the original facebook that he made those billions off of was so simple that I could have made the site myself when I was 13 years old.
Anyone could have done it but no, a complete and total voyeur addicted douchebag like Mark Zuckerberg had to do it.. I hate him so bad..

We seem to neglect blaming the older people over the younger? I've seen more babies die from neglectful parents playing facebook games then I've heard of gamers shooting up schools recently.

They say limit your child to 2 hours of gaming a day, but the parents can spend all the time on farmville they want between shaking a child to death? Now the fingers obviously being pointed at the wrong person instead of the woman leaving a child dead for days in the house cause she had to harvest her crops but the media seems to over look this in a poor excuse to continue to blame games on everything and refuse to admit the fact that some people are just naturally poor minded.

Because adults are generally responsible. Kids are not.

Thats would be the case about 1-2 generations ago, but you have to look at the people who are now becoming the parents. They are almost as concerned about twitter and facebook and the 14yr old child whos being told games gives them anxiety problems, but doesn't show till their 30+ on 4chan planning.

You mean, the irresponsible adults? The ones that are like 21 and have 3 year olds? Clearly those don't fit into the 'generally responsible' category.

If you really care about this issue than figure out something you can do to help the issue instead of pointing it out over and over..

There are always going to be idiots and idiotic parents that don't pay any attention to their children, but truth is if it wasn't for farmville or w/e those idiots would be doing something other than taking care of their child and the same thing would eventually happen because we do not yet have a machine that can tell us wether someone will inadvertantly kill their child, there is nothing any of us can do.

Idk about the last part myself anymore, I think my brain crapped out midway... I mean yeah I know the parents are bad but just pointing this out cause of how 1 sided i've seen the media. The term "Availability Heuristic" of psychology comes into play. We hear about adults killing with guns all over the place that people don't even talk about it because it's so common. When we hear about babies getting killed because an adult is playing a game, it becomes newsworthy because it's uncommon. Therefore, people are more likely to blame games because the media makes such a big deal about it.

Age has nothing to do with it, there are good parents who are 20 and their are good parents that are 40+.
Just as There are bad 20 year old parents and bad 40 year old parents.

a big part of the problem is actually society, theres less focus on things like sex education, parenting,etc with more focus on stopping child abusers with stupid laws that hurt parents, governments pretty much paying people to have kids which stupid people see as a great way to make money and hence end up neglectful.

Oi.. just gotta point out that nowhere in my argument did I refer to age once, and I believe the irrelevance of age in this issue was also pointed out.

But, at this point we are all repeating ourselves on a dead subject..
