Forsaken World Closed Beta Keys

So, I decided after seeing all the hype about Forsaken World in various forums, to give it a try. Having a PWI account already, I decided to go on and sign up for the beta. Got my beta key in my email, downloaded the game - everything is good.

Or so I thought. Everything was not good.

Apparently, PWI decided to confuse everyone by giving out beta keys, then choosing from amongst the ones who had beta keys to actually play.

My question is why even bother giving out beta keys if you never intended to let everyone with a beta key play the game. Seems like a completely useless step to me, that has only confused and alienated a large portion of their playerbase, when it could have been simply avoided by issuing beta keys to only those they intended to let into the game.

Anyway.. blargle.

Yeah, I highly recommend hooking up two monitors for this though. Running PW on one and WoW on the other.

I'd probably agree, but i'd still like to make that determination for myself.

It feels like it doesnt use either the PW or JD engine. But it plays like a combination of both. With a sprinkle of WoW, but I guess RoM would be a better comparison for gameplay purposes. Worth your time if you like that, which apparently some of OnRPG doesn't like.

I actually did play Runes of Magic, and liked it well enough. Still play every now and again. Really like the idea of the multiclass system.

But other than that, nothing really jumps out at me.

Probably nothing will in FW either, but i'd still like to try.

Well, your best bet if you wanna try it would be download the chinese client and register (very easy) and then apply the english patch...i believe there are multiple guides around.

Back when i tried it (quite a while ago), it was like 80% translated into english.
