Diablo 3 in 2012!

i think its wrong to say that the release is 2012 now..sure..his comments + this company list shows some clue about this BUT this is blizzard...they suprising us with different dates all the time and than they release the game on a completley different date (for example...christmas time).

I still think they will release the game at the end of the year or early januar 2012 because the beta starts this year (100%). Saw an article about that in a german game magazin who talked to blizz .

So beta this year and than release or they wait for early januar.

I saw this news earlier on d3.net and it made me a sad panda. I was really hoping to get this game earlier than Q4-Q1 2012 but I suppose there's not much you can do about it. On the plus side, it is Blizzard, you know they're taking their time to make a killer game. Still, the waiting is painful.

Brings back memories though, I'll admit that. I still remember when they announced D2, how hard it was to wait, being 1st in line at the mall for it, and then playing 13 hours straight until I thought my wrist was going to fall off it hurt so bad. Same thing for D2X, I was anticipating that one from announcement even more than the original D2. Fun times, fun times.

Nah i dont think we need to worry about this. Its definitley early 2012 (jan or feb) and if we are lucky they are changing
the release to the 12 dec.2011

i'am optimistic. Its blizz..they always sending out wrong dates and than they release the game and no one was right ^^

i'am glad that i have still some time to play mythos (best diablo clone / online)

Are they talking fiscal year or the standard year, because if it is the fiscal 2011 year than there is still a possibility it could be released during this calendar year?

Blizzard said "if a title is not released this year, we would be releasing two titles in 2012".

Still pretty vague, but yeah, still no confirmed timeline.

Blizzard makes great games in large part because the developers take (or get, rather) all the time they need. Delays for other companies mean lack of funding and red tape bullshit, delays for Blizzard means better games. Just look at how long they took with Diablo II and think about how that turned out.

I thought at first that it was going to be on Sept. 9, 2009 (9.9.9)[Diablo III release date], turn it upside down, eurika! it's the number of the Diablo (Devil).

I think I speak for all Diablo fans when I say this better be the best game EVER. I mean I have faith in Blizzard for delivering a good game, not convinced so far by the game play footage but if they don't pull it off and made people wait all that time there's gonna be some VERY pissed off fans.

At least we should get Dungeon Siege 3 this year that should hold me over.

I am pretty sure diablo 3 cant fail for a lot of ppl.. like me.. even if its diablo with better graphics and more people on multiplayer with a fun pvp system I will play it.. Only thing that can ruin the game for me is having drops not rare enough.. I want to kill bosses over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again to get a super rare item that will make me OP in pvp. lol :/ (sounds like I am not serious but I actually am)

i wish they would just announce games when theyre in development and 2 months before they come out so i dont have to keep waiting.
