How's the access to cards after the 40 piece starter deck? How current are they, and how easy are they to get for free?

Everything is current to Tatics gameplay. The game is not the CCG, so you wont see all types of expansions. They have only one booster you can select.

In a way, its a good and bad thing. Good that you are going to be toe to toe with the other newbies, but bad cause you have less variety.

Here's the odd thing. They have an auction house where you can pick up singles. They use a gold currency for that and tournaments. You can either purchase a booster pack (399SC) with your free 550SC or you can buy 50 gold (500SC).

50 gold is good if you know what you want. The bad thing is the prices of the rarity tiers are kinda FU**ED UP right now. I see some commons go for 4 Gold but then see the same one go for 30 Gold. Same goes with uncommons and rares.

I am sure that when things level out, there will be a balanced and decent price for everything relating to its gameplay value.

Boosters get you 10 singles. I can't recall how many of each (Commons, Uncommons, Rares, and Mythic Rare), but I do know you will get one rare and the chance of that rare being a Mythic Rares is low (10% possibly).
