I can understand that some people are against the war, but this is disgraceful. I'd heard that they were protesting a funeral recently just a few hours from my home, I had wanted to attend to help support the family with a large number of people who were there to keep them out of the funeral, but they didn't show up in the end. Please, if any of you hear about these pigs doing something like this near you, do something about it.

Yeah, I've heard about these guys. West-something Baptist Church. They really are ****ing nuts. And the head minister looks like the Crypt Keeper's dad. Very freaky. I'm no fan of Bush or the war, but goddamn! Show some respect for the dead! Just cause you're against the war doesn't mean you have to desecrate a funeral. These people give all good, honest Christians a bad name, as well as giving America a bad name. Disgusting.

Apparently a law was recently passed because of these people making it illegal to protest funerals. As soon as I find the original story I'll post it, but long story short they've anounced that they would abide by the law, but would not stop protesting alltogether. If anything, I'd like to sit with one of them and have a calm conversation about their beliefs. They're twisting the words of the Bible to make it say what they want it to, and that's insulting to anyone that's ever said a prayer to the God they claim to believe in.
