    Default Purchasing from Steam?

When making a purchase and inserting all your personal information, do they mail you a boxed copy of the game you're buying or do they just e-mail you a code for activation of the game?
Also, when you insert your phone number, would they call you at any time?

Sorry for these stupid questions, I've never made a purchase off the internet before.

They send you a mail confirming your order.
The activation code for the game (If it has one) will be accessible via the games drop-down menu in Steam.

And they have never called me.

And they aren't stupid at all, knowing before is better then knowing after and being disappointed if you thought you would get one thing, and then receive something entirely different.

No problem, enjoy whatever you are going to buy, and keep an eye out to Steam Sales.

Sometimes they put a game to sale which is $20/30/40 for $1/2/3/4/5.

Downloading digital copies of your games is great. They never break, and you never lose them.
