Default music makeing software a question

Is there any good free ones? I cant afford the pay ones. And i dont want to pirate any. I look around but. I want to know what is a good free one that has a good amount of options. I want to make ebm style music are something along those lines. I will take the time to paratice with it. Ive been wanting to make music for a while. But i dont know a good program. I look at fl studio but it has a free demo. But you cant save your work in it. So any alts to it? Im on vista aslo.

    ok thank you.

    Hoeping for a reply.

Audacity i found that and read the reviews. is it a good program to try?

Its not bad if your planning to record all of the music yourself. Ive only used it to record my voice, but its pretty good since its free.

Don't know, but you could try. I don't really do that kind of music.

You can't do stuff like that with Audicity. I don't know of any good free ones to be honest, I use Ableton Live myself.

A DAW is what you're after

LMMS (linux multimedia Studio) is a free DAW currently in beta 2 I think
    http://lmms.sourceforge.net/download.php

Alternatively, you could go for the cheapest option with Reaper
    http://www.reaper.fm/index.php

Or you could hit up dubious sources and have your pick of the DAWs.
