In your opinion. I think gender locking takes away a factor of customization. If you are like me, you do not enjoy playing as female characters in games unless it's forced. Say, for example, I'm forced to play as Lara Croft in Tomb Raider because, well, that's the main character and I'm okay with that.

of course i prefer male chars because i am a male too and of course this is just my opinion BUT i think its rlly stupid to think about that by such a game.
Its not a normal MMORPG and the gender lock fits to the chars. Example: i played the mage in D2 because i loved this char but its gender locked...befor i start raging and acting like a stupid little kid i just go on and start with this char...so in the end. I dont care if there is a gender lock or not if the whole game fits to this style. If the game is a normal mmorpg with huge world and so on...i would say that the gender lock fails there. It depends mainly on the game. A special female race is ok too because its a whole race (like amazons for example).

so yeah..its hard to discribe but in the end i think you will get the meaning of my words (hope so) ^^

Eh, I might actually try to find a decent proxy for this. Looking at NexonEU's major fail with Vindictus I don't expect this game to be released anytime soon for Europe.

I think we will get vindictus soon. They wanted to release vindictus end of 2010 at EU so i guess its faster
now because we have 2011

the IP block makes sense. Sure, many people have highspeed internet connection and somtimes they are faster
than the NA guys even when they are playing on the NA server BUT there are many other people who caused lags
on the server because their internet connection sucks but still wanna play on a foreign server so its just logical
that they use IP BLOCK + they dont have the license to host this in EU (not yet) so its much more logical..

true, still just so annoying seeing a game i want to play and knowing i wont be able to for at least another year :/
