It is a FACT, WoW offers one of, if not the most richest endgame experience right now. And yes the 'journey' to that point isn't as potent as it was in vanilla/BC.

The only game that has anything near WoW's level of endgame play is Everquest, and oddly enough, possibly FFXI.

If the "richest" endgame experience means running the same heroics/raids all the time, hoping to get a piece of equipment, only to have it not drop or have 20 other people roll on it, forcing you to run the same heroic/raid hundreds of times before you finally get said item, only to do it again for the next tier of heroics/raids, then WoW players have a skewed sense of "rich"

Thanks for summarizing every endgame ever made. Clearly I was referencing loot or the monotony of it, and not the actual encounters/lore itself. You're an asset to this discussion.

encounters themselves or the lore does not detract from the monotony of it all.

There could be a raid where one person at random is chosen to fight deathwing 1 on 1 in a super epic WoW climax, and while it would be neat the very first time, it then stops being neat because you're still running the same raid over and over and over trying to get a piece of gear.

Clearly WoW players can't stand a different opinion.
