I feel bad for that guy...17 precious years of his life just wasted away~ the court is patting themselves in the back for proving a man innocent...but how are they going to fix the past decade (and more) of that man's life??

    discuss~
The same way they fix everything, lots and lots of money..

As long as he wasn't too psychologically or physically damaged in prison he's going to leave with a ton of money and one hell of a story.

sure he will get alotof money but that money won't buy him back the best years of his life wasted in a prison

Prison probably saved his life, to even get involved in something like this, as a "suspect", he probably would've died or something later on.

so look at it in a good sense, hes walking away still living, and with a ton of money.

    Like for example.

A guy chooses to take a cab from work instead of driving.
that same day, the road he takes to and from work suddenly..blew up.

    Thus saving his life.

Pretty sure there was a case recently where they avoid using innocent in the paperwork, so the guy was unable to get a pay out. (I'll see if I can find it)

He's not going to get any money. Unless the state decides to give him some because they feel bad.

Pretty solid judicial system we got going.
