As for the account hacking. There was a series of account hacking cases right after the game went in Beta but I can't recall the details of it. If you are interested then go and do some searching in MC forums. The anwser is there and I am 100% sure about that, didn't find it, you searched bad.
P.S How come you could afford it once and not again? Skip a night of drinking, a dinner or 2 and you got yourself MC again.
