Just got the game today. My pokemon starter is water. I just captured Sawk and he's a boss ass fighting type with high attack. Got my 2nd badge and just entered the biggest city, ever. Then saved and called it quits for the day.

Holy shit, same thing happened to me, I went to verse with Snivy, but I ended up just really using lilipup, deafeted the first badge taking it slow, also lilipup at 15.. One more level to evolve.
