Looks identical to Skyline, which was not a good movie. Also, of all the places on Earth, why do they have to save LA?

    Identical?

Maybe not. Yeah sure, aliens are invading. And yeah sure, were back in L.A. but i think thats it.

Pretty sure this movie runs off a story from the 40's, so im a bit excited to where they take that.

if i remember correctly, Skyline copied off and based its ideas on this movie, and came out first~ and we all know how that turned out.

i am still going to watch this regardless. who doesn't like aliens fighting against modern human technology? :3

    1. Somebody said modern technology vs alien species capable of high tech space travel. Honestly, the human spirit and will to survive is a powerful thing, but really? If an alien species came to Earth right now and wanted to wipe us out, we'd be f*cked.

    2. Why JUST Los Angeles? There are a dozen more important cities in the world. You'd think if you were to invade a planet, you wouldn't attack on one, specific location of lesser importance than, say, Washington DC, Moscow, or London. Population? There are a lot of cities larger than LA, like Mexico City, Beijing, or Tokyo.

That being said, I'm definitely going to go see it.

    .

You see, you're thinking with a human mentality. Even though aliens may possess powerful weapons, our arsenal is just as lethal as theirs.
