    Default An Issue With Sounds/Crashing.

My PC's fairly new, but on some occasions (they seem to be getting more frequent) my audio will start to fill with static, which is followed by massive slowdown and eventually my computer crashing. It only seems to happen once I have a program up (such as a game), but the intensity of CPU usage doesn't seem to make a difference. For example, I've had it happen while playing Crysis 2 or Dragon Age 2, but also while playing Minecraft or WoW.

Does anyone have any idea what may be happening/if something needs to be replaced? Thanks.

    Does it BSOD?

It also might be worth to check the Application page in Windows logs in your eventviewer (type 'eventvwr' in run).

I should update this but all my effort went into writing this lousy excuse.

The slowdown and crashing sounds like a software issue. Best advice is to uninstall all drivers and redownload the drivers you have.

Yeah, if I keep it running without restarting when it starts to mess up I get a BSOD.

    I'll try that out.

Mind providing us with the BSOD information?
