I don't know about any other details just that it has no PVP.

The freedom server is what Rolf (the guy who makes the game/owner) made after he screwed up by adding PvP to the JK-home, and Mr-home servers. So, he deleted the Home servers, allowed everyone to either transfer to the Freedom (no PvP... basically the same as the old home servers, just a new map... that is no PvP. Only combat is against the animals), and the Wild server, which is the free-for-all PvP server where anything goes.

Also, there will soon be a new server called Epic, which is supposed to be how Rolf originally visioned the game to be like. He'll keep the Wild and Freedom servers, though. I'll join you guys. I wont be 100% active, maybe I'll get on once in a while. But as long as you guys are around I'll pop in now and then to help out.

I wont be resubbing, so all my skills will be stuck at 20.

Actually, yes I will be resubbing, as it's only 10 silver in-game to buy a month of premium time! And I have enough silver to last me a few months.

Have you tried messing around with the graphics settings?

This makes me want to return, but I don't feel like starting on a new character and my good character is premium and unpaid.

It's an amazing game, most people never really gave it much of a chance since it wasn't exactly easy to get into, though, these days its pretty convenience for newbies.

If your character was on the freedom server, you can now play it for free, you'll just be restricted to 20 max skill in all your skills, until you pay for prem again. You can pay 10s in-game for a month of premium, too. Once you pay for prem again, your skills will go back to where they were when you had premium.

Yeah, I figured. It just feels like wasted time, in terms of skill gain anyway. With only 20s it'd probably take a long time to make 10s, unless one knew a generous wealthy man in need of basic work.

In the past I'd already made multiple new accounts over a couple of years and got them all in 20s just making villages (usually by the name Vagrant something or other) and having fun on Golden Valley before going premium, It got a bit more tedious to deal with the cap each time and now that I've tasted 50+ in skills... Yeah.

I'll probably mull it over though, Wurm is so addictive.

Ah, yeah, I guess being stuck with 20 in skills when you've been a lot higher can make everything feel extremely tedious. Lucky for me, I always bought 1 months + 5 silver each month xD so I have a large stash of silver sitting in my bank, so I'm set for premium for a few months.

The game is interesting. Though with no map I had no idea where to go to reacg onrpg place. So I just started climbing up the road to find a place to settle. Somewhere far from players. But as I go I just see more and more houses, towns, markets so I just went offroad suddenly fell off a steep slope. I was stuck so I said "the hell with it" and kept sliding down. When I was at the bottom I was down to like 50% HP and that's when I quit.

Might restart later and head to other direction

Though I must say that there are a lot of dead bodies once you spawn out of the tutorial on Freedom.

The area around the starting place is very crowded. And the areas on the shore. You either have to walk or sail a bit to find an empty place.

House is complete! We need hunters to venture out and find animals to slaughter for materials!

The house is only a few minute walk from the starter zone.

    Shouldn't be a problem!

If anyone is lost, feel free to send me a /tell ingame.

Can be a bit tricky to get to the Unicorn lodge, so, I'll try to help out where I can.
