You can either find cursed items as loot or have your items cursed upon death unless you have Holy Charms (received from quests or item shop), they've recently made Holy Charms free though. There's still the whole incense system but I don't know how much you know about that.

I like the game, the only few things I dislike about it is that:
*combat is a little slow paced (especially for melee and the lack of auto-attack)
*the profession system isn't rewarding enough and unlike most games Gathering and selling material doesn't make that much money

Other than that, it has a lot of similarities with WoW wrapped up in a different package that I like. The questing interface is particularly good.
Thanks alot for the updates, i will prob give it another go later today after i get off work. It's a good game, just the damn auto attack thing kinda discourages me.

+rep for providing actual information instead of flaming this game.

Great game in my opinion the only f2p right now thats worth investing your time in, I'm actively playing WoW and sometimes I need a brake from it and then I play Allods and it actually manages to keep my attention unlike the crapload of stupid korean grinders that fill up the f2p market. And the game population is great tons of low lvl and a lot of high lvl players around, the middle is a little thin thou The next big expansion is coming soon and its going to improve an already amazing game, and btw yes CS helps but since you can sell CS items in AH even the players who dont spend any real money can play with no problems what so ever and even enjoy pvp. So lvl your self a char and dont listen to those CS whiners.

I find the 4 hour incense buff to be more than enough time except maybe on weekends (if you play in intervals). The only annoying thing is when I leave the city and forget to get it.

P.S. - Stay clear of melee Scouts, I hear they still suck something fierce.

Wow what whiners, if you play strictly to be the best don't play an MMO go play some goddamn fps. Only part where CS plays any role is PvP and not even all pvp, and thats like 10% of the game and for some who dont pvp at all is nothing but reading your comment they wouldnt even start the game thinking they coudnt do shit without tons of $ which just isn't true, but whatever this is onrpg if someone here actually takes comments about most mmos seriously and uses those comments to decide if hes going to play something then I truly pity him.

If you don't care about PvP at all, and you are generally uncompetitive you may keep enjoying the game. You can do heroics with low lvl runes. However, to get Legendary gear you will have to do Astral, GT and Melting Isle. You can forget about pvp because anyone who has even a full set of +1 runes above you already has a giant advantage. Note that runes give a % modifier, not a flat number.
That's B2P, and from what I've seen my roommate playing the endgame seems terrible. Farming endlessly for gear that's slightly better but mostly because they look different?
