8.5/10 (8/10 if you look at my personal preference)

The case, it's not bad, but the downside of the case can also let in quite the bit of dust.

850 watt supply isn't really needed yet unless you SLI, even than it'd be around 750w if I'm not mistaken. Also, which PSU brand is it?

In the end, it's not that bad and the PSU, looking at the watts, can last you for a while regarding upgrades.

I should update this but all my effort went into writing this lousy excuse.

I cant remember the brand, but it was a good power supply maker, not one of those cheapo ones.

Don't plan on SLI atm, the card I have really has no issues with any games, and it looks really good lol.

    7/10.

A Phenom II x6 is not really worth it when it comes to games.

You should have spent that money on an i5 2500k or waited for AMD's new CPUs to come out.

850w power supply is over kill, you would have been fine with a 500w PSU.

The case is alright but you may want to purchase some dust filters.

8 gigs is overkill right now unless you are doing some serious rendering work.
I would have gone with 6 gigs in triple channel using an i5 2500k.

Its worth it. I had the money to spend on everything so, yeah some things are bit overkill I knew that when I was putting it together lol. A PSU is definitely not something you want to go cheap on, my Video cards psu minimum was 500 watts so... And I got the 8 gigs of ram simply because there was a really good deal going on with them

I prefer AMD cpu's, and honestly man you can always say you should of waited for the newer computer part, but PC parts are constantly getting outdated. When I went to the store a guy I was talking to was actually talking about AMD's new cpu.

500w is plenty they use that as a minimum but really it's quite enough unless you are packing 12 fans.

Also having higher wattage doesn't mean the PSU is better quality.
I could purchase a 500w PSU that is much better than an 800W one.

And the CPU you purchased is not worth it if you only use it for regular tasks and games.

You don't really get much performance gain compared to the 4 core Phenom II CPUs.

It would have been better for you to buy a similar priced i5 2500k which will perform better in games and have great overclocking potential.

8 gigs of RAM is overkill.
    No game needs it.
by the time a game needs 8 gigs the RAM you purchased will be obsolete by years.

It would have been better to purchase 3 sticks of 2gig ddr3 RAM and set them up in triple channel using the i5 2500k.

Also I would purchase two separate hard drives and put them in RAID 0 configuration.

This would have been my advice.
I am not ignorant when it comes to this so don't pass it off like that.
