I guess I can put the words "f2p mmo" in any sentence, and that would give you the right to post it on this forum.
I can make a topic like: "Toasters, f2p mmo"
And make it a thread about how toasters make delicious toast, which you can enjoy while playing a f2p mmo.

Reputation: 10That's fail just cause someone doesn't know the model of some gay handheld. I could give 2 shits about the psp. It's not a god console to justify that if you don't know what it is that your a disgrace to games. That's like saying if you don't believe/know in god you should die or you shouldn't have the right to live.
So Sony is gonna start claiming that the NGP only does everything?

Reputation: 15Personally, I'll get one. Being able to play games like Uncharted with decent graphics is good enough for me.
As for DS having better games... that's debatable. For some reason, once I finish a DS game, I can't replay it.
I've gone through 3 - 4 years with just 4 PSP games in total, which I still use frequently.
It's a matter of preference.
Reputation: 15Funny, I never gave a damn about the PSP or any of it's models so I'm afraid I knew nothing of this.
Oh and FYI, I still don't give a damn.
Which is why we have such generic games these days, to many people are stucked to the idiot idea that a game has to be loaded with guts and prostitues to be considered "mature". Got a deep story loaded with questions of morality and what good and evil actually mean and great gameplay, but no blood or slutty as hell women? To bad *****, you're a child's game!
Eh getting a bad feeling that even though the NGP has terrible games Sony can at least claim it was the most powerful handheld out! Like powerful tech makes up for a shitty catalog of games. And no allowing you to play PS3 games on a handheld is not gonna save it. I mean most people can't even take a handheld with them everywhere and play them longterm anywhere even if they brought one with them. If someone saw u with one in school (K-12) they'd take it.
Don't know about Japan. And if I can play a game on a PS3 how it's meant to be then why would I play it on a handheld in a tiny screen? While fumbling with my hands to hold it and do all the actions while also blowing dust off the screen and hiding from glare.

Reputation: 35I think the whole PS3 to NGP feature is for people who are out of their houses a lot. I only come home to get a few hours of sleep so I would love to be able to play my games on the go.
And since the screen in an OLED screen, there should be less glare.
And about being the most powerful, that's always been sony's thing, especially with the PS3. They gave the PS3 a billion features that nobody ever uses.

Reputation: 482I want one but consoles rarely have any good titles on release. I'm still waiting on stuff to buy for my 3DS.
Whether its Sony or Nintendo, any of these products they release have RPG games which are nice and decent, I'll dig right in. Same goes with the NGP. I don't really care much about features as long it serves as a time killer for me when I'm bored at work. Still waiting for my 3DS at the moment since I ordered a black model from the shop I regularly go and they ran out of stock. Waiting waiting >_>
Reputation: 14Actually One guy from SONY said that its the perfect platform for MMOs. Look, NGP got 10 keys + 2 analog sticks + touch screen + touch panel+ mic + 2 cameras, perfect combination for gaming. Even if there wont be any MMORPGs for NGP, it can still run Android Apps and Games so you can run online games for android.
Reputation: 65I'd only pick up a NGP if custom firmware is developed for it honestly. That's the only reason I got my original PSP as well.
Also I feel the iPad would be much better for mmo's.
The big difference is that the NGP is a console first and foremost. It's really meant for gaming and only gaming. The iPad does far more and is just about infinitely expandable with apps.
So roughly $300 for a limited device or $600 for something that can do about anything you want?
Woah a ninja delete while I was answering.
