Such an amazing show may get cancelled due to CN's crappy reason of "no toys"

Cartoon Network announced its new slate of series yesterday, but most of the on-line chatter is about the cancellation of Genndy Tartakovsky’s confusingly namedSym-Bionic Titan which lasted exactly one season of twenty episodes. Steve Hulett of the Animation Guild reported what he heard while wandering the halls of Cartoon Network:
“Genddy’s moved on to Sony Pictures Animation. Titan got competitive ratings with other action shows, but what shut it down was it didn’t have enough toys connected to it. If you don’t have the, the studios don’t want to renew for another season.”
The obligatory “save the show” page on Facebook currently has just over 300 members.

I guess but it was still something worth watching on TV especially with the crap like problem solvers and this new show they bringing out, gumslap or something

I've only seen episode 1, a while ago, we don't get CN here in Canada and Teletoon -- which is a pale comparison to CN sucks -- so I found the episode another way. We had the same problem in the 1980s, there were a lot of good cartoons, but if no company wanted to make a toy to accompany the show, then the show would usually get cancelled.

well I guess its time to forget this then another show good show gone like samurai Jack (that show made me cry when they stopped)

Yeah, it does suck.
CN only ordered 20 episodes and Genddy wanted the series to be a long one, so get ready for a cliff hanger ending with no sign of closure.

Hmm interesting. Didn't know toys played such a huge role in the show staying on the air. It seemed pretty decent, I liked the characters and the story. Defiantly would have had me hooked as a kid of 12~13.

That's a shame. I liked what I saw of it, when I saw it. Usually I only make a point of watching Adventure Time.

They did, more so in the 1980s, as cartoons were considered 30 minute toy commercials, and that started to die off as the 1980s ended, only certain cartoons or live action shows would now get toys associated with them.

I behoove all of you guys to watch the origin stories for lance and the day that their home planet gets attacked ... the character development in this show is amazing and its a travesty to see it canceled
