I agree...The Old Republic completely failed. It discourages the social aspect of MMOs...Linear piece of garbage.

Even though I am hyping it up like a little kid I must indeed say now I think about it... There isnt much interaction with the environment

the whole game feels kinda bland. like he said the voice acting is nice, but over all there's nothing really groundbreaking or exciting about the game. atleast to me.

i thought we all agreed to stop looking for groundbreaking games until gw3 came out. and then be disappointed after and look for something else to feed our hopes into.

considering how many millions they invested in this game ... I hope it to be perfect at this beta stage which is not ... and which shows that they put too much work into voicing forgetting of all other aspects but which will be put into game with expansions or other shit but lets hope it won't be too late when they start adding everything...

i tell you people so many time. bioshock only made this mmorpg for the voice acting and and there npc voice chat system they feature in many there games they think pay for this over new combat system and new feature. but this will be there down fall for mmorpg

Oh yes, forgetting the fact that this is Bioware's first MMORPG, CLEARLY they're going to be the ones that have an absolutely PERFECT beta, which is IMPOSSIBLE. Let's also completely forget that bioware games have always been focused on the storytelling and writing, and not "super omg awesome!" graphics or super intense action packed gameplay like DMC. Even Bioware's action game, Jade Empire, was more RPG than action.

Yes, let's take everything Bioware is known for and throw that out the window, because clearly they're going to become masters at something they've never done before in the very first attempt. If you people were expecting TOR to be the best MMORPG of all time and the new WoW and were expecting to be blown away by how amazing it is and how you're never going to play another MMO or single player game again because it's just THAT good then quite frankly you deserve to be let down.

But I digress: The screenshot thread isn't the place to bicker about whether or not TOR lived up to insanely high expectations. A new thread would be better suited to that.

Anyway, I somehow don't seem to be able to really enjoy mmo's anymore nowadays, I miss simply games like dungeon runners or games with a great community (like runes of magic back in the days)
