Megaten..Slow start.

Alright, so I'm moving at the end of this month and I won't have a good chunk of time to game..But with that said I intend on playing something in a casual way(Still daily, though). As gaming is becoming more of a luxury money is more likely to flow..Blah blah blah, you don't care.


ANYWAY, I've tried to start Megaten before but I simply can't get through the first levels. I like the look of the game, and the battle system but its' just so slow at first.

Is there anything that keeps you guys playing it ? What helped you get through the slow points ?

Would anyone like to join me in my.. like fifth try to play ?

I'm really thinking about resubbing to my Darkfall, but the grind might be tough.(That said I do have a friend starting like tomorrow).

i've never played an mmo that had a fast start besides fps

wow gw fw flyff rose sun etc etc you just gotta bear with it. some games take a little longer but in my opinion the start is always going to be shit.

i played that game quite along time ago. was fun until you played thru the game after that it takes a week to gain a lvl (at lvl 40+), but that was ages ago might be diffrent now, with more content and such

best way i found was to play that guy that uses guns and then that unicorn sheep that had mass heals and charge. it was easy mode

when i played the meele classes where severly up until very late lvls dunno how it is now

Since when wow has a slow start ? It gets you hooked with cool quests from the start , now more then ever with the beggining Goblin and Worgen quests , plus the combat isn't slow (well atleast compared to megaten)

it was my opinion. it was slow. i'm the type of gamer that likes an abundance of skills i like the grind of killing monsters when i have plenty of skills to amuse myself.

unlike a lot of people im not a big fan of unique quests. i like the kill X mobs instead of escort X to X.

How is the grind now? and can i play pve without needing cash items?

you'll get 3-4 skills but combat will stay slow

Its not really the slow combat..

It's just slow starting...

Like.. Theres' not much involvement..And stuff..

I downloaded it today, I'ma see how it feels again.
