Freedom VS. Anarchy.

Is there a difference between the two, or is anarchy simply complete, 100% freedom? I'm writing an essay on this, and I'm curious what you think. I think complete freedom is anarchy, and complete freedom would be balls.

anarchy is the lack of government, as in 100% no government, so yes freedom from the government, basically.

it would be the perfect system under the assumption that people did the right thing ALL the time. but since they do not, the system fails. the people need a government to control them due to that.

on a scale of 0 to 10, with 0 being anarchy and 10 being full government control, id say america is 3-4

Anarachy does not =/= freedom, you have more freedom in todays culture why? In anarachy anyone can kill anyone, that means they will (lets face it peaceful anarachy would never happen). So unless you call living your life constatly looking over your shoulder as true freedom well then more power to ya.

Freedom and anarchy describe the best and worst thing that man can do with the same state of affairs.

Pure freedom? That leaves the world open to chaos and peace freely. Both able to touch people and either destroy or build. There is no such thing as absolute freedom in a world of more than one person. In a world where any action can be disapproved of in any way than there can be no absolute freedom. No 100% freedom.

Although, I have a hard time believing back before religion that people had the amount of jealousy people have today. Hollywood and other forms of conditioning have lead us to believe in the whole 1 person for 1 person thing in relationships.

Read up on the story of Agamemnon and how he died.
I guess you should know about Penelope and how her courtship company came to end by the return of Odysseus, or Helena, the reason that the Greeks campaigned against Troy.

That is basically all the people cared about at all some 3000 years before now.

Freedom is what most people have. The ability to go about life unhindered in any reasonable sense.

Certain things are deprived of us that shouldn't be, but that's life. Total freedom cannot exist because that IS anarchy and anarchy is stupid. It doesn't work. The proof being that it has never worked.
