    One million dollars is a lot of money but not so much money that it couldn't all be spent in a few months. But yeah I'd just put it in a high yield savings account and live off interest.

    I'd completely waste it on anything and everything.

    I'd do stupid shit like buy 100 pizzas and hand them out to random people. I'd go to bars and buy everyones drinks for the night. I'd buy a new car for me and all my homies. I'd buy a new boat and a house.

    I'd just go nuts with it until it was gone. Maybe try to save like $200,000.

    You only live once. I wouldn't wanna be a miser, I'd wanna have fun and just use it. I could die at any time (we all could), so **** saving it.

    I would put it away in the bank, live my life, and live comfortably. Of course, I would buy a new car, a house (not talking about a mansion here, just a decent size; 4 rooms, spacious, 3 bathrooms), and just continue to work. With that much money, I could retire early, but the money will also be there for my kids, whenever I decide to have them.

    I've already been in this situation, sort of. One of the first things I did was go to a notable childrens' hospital here in London and ask how I could make a donation.

    The same applies to regular hospitals. I don't even like wiping my own bottom, so to know that there are people who deal with having to bedbath and wash elderly, incontinent people? That takes levels of iron-clad dedication I can't even fathom.

    I'd use it to pay off all my student and med school loans, then invest the rest. Once it plus my own savings piled up to a decent amount, I'd like to go to Doctors Without Borders trips.
