I'm looking for a tough looking dog.

But the thing is it cant be a big like a Pitbull or a Rotwieler because my mother is scared of big dogs because when me, my lil brother, and sister were younder we had a Doverman and it was real protective of my brother, sister and I and my mother couldnt even yell at us without getting growled or barked at lol. I am 16 now but my mother still doesnt like big dogs . So im looking for a medium sized dog but that looks kinda tough. I'm looking to name my dog when i get it "Rambo" :3. Anybody have any suggestions? :smile:

rofl,rambo it will pwn every1,anyways,get a bulldog or a boston terrier(yea,boston terrierer's are small but they are freakin tough as hell n will bark at huge @$$ dogs n attack em and pwn em and i know coz i had a boston terrier)

they don't there max height is 60 cm which isn't at least my thigh and im smallunless his mum finds 60 cm big or she is quite small.... if thats the case take a bulldog there small and look mean but are sweet

Yea nothin too big..i was thinking a Bulldog at first. They have a real interesting past, they used to fight bears, horses, and even bulls, thats how they got there names. Then i found out that there messy eaters and you have to clean inside there folds on there faces >< lol thats kinda nasty. Bulldogs are still on my list though, the dog im looking at now is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier

EDIT: I really want a pitbull but theres no way in hell my mother would let me get one. I'm even buying the dog i choose myself lol but i have to run the dog by her first. If it was totally up to me i would get a Pitbull.

too bad your mom doesnt like big dogs because great danes are very gentle giants I have one and it's funny because you can't imagine this big dog being afraid of the noise the hose makes and the noise when the wind hits theblinds. Besides that they are really expensive and since your paying never mind. Mine cost like 800 dollars :P the runt was 350 because we adopted it.

you could also take your mum to an animal shelter there she will pity on some dog you like and she is totally in love with it and she takes it home

Shiba Inu's are probably expensive as hell and you'd probably better not live somewhere too hot. I was thinking of a husky, except they can be pretty big and look like a mix of a German Shephard and a wolf, but a little more on the wolf side.
