Looking for a good MMORPG that is least cash shop dependant

Hello i'm looking for a good MMORPG that is least cash shop dependant , because i love to PvP and cash shop dependant games ruin it.
it can have a cash shop but just not OP as hell like Perfect World , people spend 10k USD and one shot anything.

- Decent Amount of classes
- Fantasy/Asian themed( no anime please )
- Open World PvP
- Decent Population
- and please don't recommend WoW , i've tried going back to it twice and just couldn't stick with it

i was thinking about Aion or Aika or 9Dragons

i don't know who suggested perfect world to you, but that game is definitely not what you're looking for.

Anyways, try Aion, i don't know if they still do trials, but that game doesn't have OP cash shop if i recall.

Until endgame, you don't need it, thus making it very un-CS dependant 'til endgame

Best one i've seen is LOTRO online. I mean you can get all CS items by playing, and it's not that hard actually. You can also get VIP status through some quest I think or something else.

does lotro have world pvp ? or any pvp at all ?

Those who say it's CS dependent are simply going at it solo, or not managing their money.

You sure can make a few crap items every now and then without CS, but you can't make godly items for free, i guarantee you that. And these godly items cost a lot...you would need a whole year of daily's rewards to make 1 of these :O

Also, good guilds don't recruit free players, therefor free players are obsolete for endgame...i remember back when i played mages with godly gear tanking 10 times better than free player tanks.

yes, with aika's nation reformat I think it would be more interesting. I don't know about the cash shop though.. because my friends and I don't buy anything from there and we do pretty good
