I'd prefer if they concentrated time and effort making quests that are more "epic" and have more to do with the main storyline--like toppling an evil regime. Instead, we're quite literally given random chores like "talk to Sarah and collect Safflower". Shit, I could be doing this in real life. We're in a fantasy world with endless possibilities yet the game makers want me to collect flowers? Really? You guys couldn't be more creative?

Seriously though, whats hot in the mmo scene atm? I havent been following it lately.
oh btw i playtested a shooter mmo recently but they never told me the name. it was terrible, but does anyone know the name?

When I think about it, I think Guild Wars is the MMO that really got the right idea. Fast paced combat coupled with a quick regening HP pool like COD. They just need to tweak some things. For instance, create more of a grind to create a sense of achievement. Also refine the combat so it is less of a stressful skill masher.
