Oh man, I can smell the crying of those grenades and turrets in pvp already lol!

It looks damn good, now I'm stuck between playing a Necromancer, Guardian and this lol.

Last profession speculation? Discuss. I say it would be the mesmer.

I think they had to rework them several times over, making sure it fits well and works well.

Beta is this summer and release will probably be end of this year, or early next year.

    Really?

I've probably played more p2p MMO's than you have.
Nothing changes the fact MMO's will always have that factor to it, and that looks like the perfect character for it.

Having fun while doing it or not was never in question.
You can have fun doing whatever you like when you're playing a character you enjoy.

If you take into account that farming for shit was a big aspect of GW, I don't get where you're coming with that F2P comment.

Not even forgetting that it fits the F2P model, after you bought it

Edit; I also found it to be the least exciting class reveal so far, not because of the class itself, but the video was pretty underwhelming in my opinion.

There's many different concepts of farming, but when the word is spoken; usually an image of a player spending countless hours doing the same task over and over comes up.

Yet that is essitentally what an RPG is, you continue to do the same things over and over in order to either gain exp and level up or aquire new gear.

Farming is basically grinding questless or the same type of quest (kill 10 rats) over and over.

And don't give me the whole, "MMORPGs are grindy, no matter what hurr" because those words would mean nothing if that is true. They would be rendered useless.

When you raid end-game, you constantly do the same dungeons over and over untill you complete your set of gear. Then you have nothing to do untill the next dungeon releases with a new tier of gear, in which you rinse and repeat. This is farming.

Yes, because the original post I replied to, meant he wanted to farm alone in a raid....

I'm definitely going to play this class or the Warrior.

Depends on whether I'm in the mood for bashing stuff in the face or exploding faces.

Also, where in the world did the OP think that Guild Wars 2 is a free mmorpg...?

It's not P2P either...So by moving it here, you're as wrong as he is.

+ Who the fudge gives a shit? F2P section is the most popular, the others, are dead. Even though this mentality doesn't help, neither does moving threads over to, what should be renamed, as the graveyard...(As you keep seeing)

I would honestly just make an MMO section and merge F2P + P2P together.

But then again, you probably won't even read this because even Mods don't visit here.

When users before me post about the exact same game and don't have their threads moved, or posts threads about Heroes of Newerth which isn't an MMO(no, room based games that hold up to 10 people are not massive multiplayer online games.) nor is it an MMORPG, also with a $30 payment,
could say the same thing about League of Legends except there is no payment, yet that thread has 19,493 replies 514,995 views.
Sure its not Free to Play, but it is Buy to Play and then Free to play after that.
After all these years of gaming I've learned that the gaming community refers P2P games as paying for a game monthly.
While Buy to Play leans more to the free to play side.
and to be honest o.O looking at the P2P section with 5 viewers at the time and looking at the Free MMO/MMORPG with over 200 viewers got me to post it.
    Just sayin'

I never even meant/said I wanted to farm.

Now, if we take your logic and my post then I would've said it was my kind of class, which I didn't.

I simply implied that the character, given it's skills and characteristics would be the right class to do so with.

If you didn't assume shit out of the blue, you'd know that.

Also, you're stuck to this idea that you don't farm in p2p MMO's, which is a bullnyerk statement and repeating it won't make it a fact nor help your argument.

Another piece of misconception of yours is that farming equals grinding
You farm for a specific item that a specific mob drops, may it be gear or a crafting component, whatever.
Meaning, farming might give you the experience you require to level, but it comes as a consequence and it isn't the set goal.

While grinding means you'll be doing it for the exp, not the loot, and regardless of the mob as long it'll provide you exp.

While both have similar principles, their aims are quite different.

You tangled with a unnecessary and quite frankly, senseless post and won't give in, enjoy the ignorance it holds.
