Webzen English R2 Online Beta Coming Soon!

Reign of Revolution, primarily known as R2, is a Free to Play 3-D MMORPG which will be hosted by Webzen. Webzen has other successful MMO's such as MUOnline, Archlord, as well as S.U.N. Online. This game was orignally released by NHN Korea in 2006, and while that was 5 years ago, it must still have potential for Webzen to re-release it especially with other highly anticipated titles such as "C9" and "Blade and Soul" on everyone's mind.

While R2 isn't officially released yet in NA, the website and forums were recently opened earlier this month. You can visit the website and check out the teaser trailer at http://r2online.webzen.com/event/teaser/. and while your there check out the forum event to see how you can have a chance at receiving a beta key!

This game has excellent graphics for its time and many features that should lead to a great overall experience. Some of these features include: a good variety of classes and character creation options, crafting, mounts, PvP, and character transformations.

Expanding more on the pvp, this game has a heavy pvp base. Including Castle Sieges, Duels, and Guild battles players must also be aware that PK'ing (Player Killing) is able to occur. I am unsure as if Webzen will make you be able to toggle PK on and off but from what I have read from english players on the Korean/Russian servers, they have been killed at random and are unable to find a way for them to stop. Players just need to be very careful should it turn out PK is on at all times.

Overall, with a variety of insane monsters to kill and areas to explore the game looks to be a fun and entertaining experience. The only questionable aspect of the game I see right now is the ability for senseless PK'ing. Having played other games with PK always active I know how a lot of people can be once they level up and it can ruin the experience for newer players, but we will just have to wait and see.

The fact you replied so quickly tells me you are very bored and have nothing better to do besides hover over threads you pick out at random and try to make them look bad. So rather than you picking out quotes from my posts and attempting to change the meaning of what I actually intend, actually read the whole thing, not just what you want to read.

This game is old as ****, not just "a few years"...it's at least half decade old if not more, i remember playing the russian version quite a few years ago...and the game is meh. Graphics wise is like SUN, it's a true point and click and even tho it has pk system the game is very boring.

Imo, i wouldn't bother publishing a game like this in 2011, it feels like going back to 2005...they should focus on C9 instead of publishing this "crap". By the time they release C9 it will be another old game, just like this or SUN...BAD WEBZEN!!!.

Very good points Adamaris, but Webzen must have their reasons for trying it. It will be interesting to see if they try anything new of different than the other versions have. And trust me I agree with you fully about C9 in the aspect of they should focus more on that due to the fact of its fanbase and how long people have been waiting for it. Excellent graphics yes, in the year of development back in 2007 or 2008 maybe. You are publishing the game in 2011 and included "excellent graphics"?

Many features? Last I counted was 5 you stated. I would have used terms like "Features in this game include" instead of "Many".

The fact that there are ppl waiting to play this game or Webzen has some savvy business idea to make this game popular does not mean you have the rights to blindly boast about what a game does not have.

Try to be more humble next time when promoting an uber old game.

Forgive me for not stating "for its time" when I stated excellent graphics. I failed to mention this is an older game that is basically being re-released and I applaud you in picking that out. *applauds*

If so, then I did not boast about anything the game does not have.
