    Default ITT: Memory lane....

Post a story from your past, funny, sad, morbid, who cares!

I remember when I dumb foundely decided to ride a bike that had no breaks, and ended up going down a really steep hill, with a busy intersection at the end of it. Mid way, I looked to my side and there was a big bush, and some grass, so i decided to bail out of it, funny enough, I got my first concussion that day too...

    Ah, the joys of childhood.

Lol, I was just reminiscing with my buddy about recess at our junior high. Dodgeball with rocks, that game all the boys played on the field that just consisted of tackling each other and throwing something at one of the hundred wasps' nests and just running full speed through the swarm and trying not to get stung.

My junior high didn't have much money, haha.

I remember using dialup to play some really crappy virtual pet website thingy that could have been coded on a floppy disk or something.

Remember when playing with matches and starting a fire in some secluded area made you a badass and was like the number one most fun thing you could do?

And if you had a lighter? Awwwwwww man were you cool.

I remember the one, it was basically what Neopets was improving on.
Back in those days I used to play a MUD called Equinox.

I had a holo Gyarados that was in *ahem* tip-top shape.

I once used an aftermarket beyblade string thing to spin my top so fast the pins came out.

    Ah, the joys of childhood.
Friends and I decided to go down a really steep hill on razor scooters. There was no incoming traffic but we were going down the hill at fast speeds, I tried to slow down and realized my scooter didn't have any brakes. I couldn't slow down and I tried to make a sharp turn at the corner... yeah... first concussion as well.

One of my friends couldn't stop because he was going too fast, ended up hitting a parked car, launching himself through the air, and over the fence of a neighbors yard. It was quite the distance too. That's all I saw before I went unconcious.

He had a few cuts and bruises as I did. 3rd friend jumped into a bush like you did but only ended up with a few cuts.

    BEST IDEA EVER.

    Another one:

My father caught me having sex with my girlfriend on top of his bed. Now that... was a bad idea. I was 13.

He beat the life out of me even more when he found out I wasn't using a condom. I always use a rubber now.

I just remembered first seeing SLC Punk!

    One of my favorite movies.

Roger Ebert summed it up really well:
What "SLC Punk'' is really about is Stevo's ironic distance on his lifestyle - about the way he lives it and analyzes it at the same time. The message isn't "live this way,'' but "look at the way you live.''
I saw it in my grandma's house. She had cable, and visiting her was the only time we as kids got to watch cable. This movie just stuck out for how much it affected me and how I looked at the world. I think it prematurely developed one of my strongest personality traits: I am endlessly examining and analyzing my life and the things I see and I think about. I don't necessarily think well, or think clearly, but I think a lot.

I also remembered how the first bands I got into were The Offspring and Fivestar. At the risk of sounding like a hipster, I bet almost none of you have heard of Fivestar.

    I don't remember anything pre-7 years old L O L.
But apparently I've smashed a bike when I was like 3-4 using a baseball bat because my brother told me to. :c

I've also ran down a hill in a shopping cart onto cobblestone holding a 2l pepsi.
funnily enough I didn't get a scratch, but god the pepsi exploded.

Drink a quart of whiskey and shoot off some guns. Then eat a whole turkey and buy a craigslist massage. Its a cure-all.

Fever? Yup. Broken heart? Yup. Headache? Yup. Bordem? Yup.

When I was small, Im thinking 9-10 this douche had a box of cherry bombs and I had shorts on and he kept snapping them at my legs... FML

Same age time, I think, Went to see if a friend was home, went to the back and see a dog there and a broken window screen and I think nothing of it and walk away (the dog was a preggo pitbull) then Bam I get knocked over from behind, by instinct I guard my face/neck, luckly a neighbor sees me and chases it off with a bat... haha, I remember when me and my friend tommy found a pack of matches, while trying to kill a spider in the woods, we ended up setting a bunch of dried leaves on fire. He tried to put it out with a even bigger pile of brush and other stuff, and it caused a flash fire so fast it knocked both of us off our feet, we grabbed our bikes and hauled *** lol.. We didnt go outside for a month.
