These typing tests aren't accurate. I've done them before. Some of my results have shown between 42 and 77 wpm. And the paragraphs you have to type out are not standard every-day language. Don't forget simple spelling and grammatical errors that need to be corrected which is time added on.

Things like this aren't worth bragging about.

Usually type at 115+ though, if I don't have to type lots of quirky symbols!

But seriously I'm not a fast writer. I got 46 WPM on the 3 minute test about astronauts...
But then again it goes quite a bit faster when I don't have to follow something I read, and using words not normally used.

the way they taught me cramped the **** out of my fingers and hurt my hands alot so i've pretty muched learned to type mainly with my thumbs, index fingers, and middle fingers on both hands mostly.

There is a systematic method, I guess, with home keys and stuff.

For me it's more of a weird relationship between dominant fingers / proximity.

Typing something you see and typing your thoughts are two different things. If I could just type out something like this post here, I bet I could get over 110.

I type only using my 2 index fingers and sometimes my middle fingers and my thumb to press space. So yeah, screw typing normally D:
