    Default DC has a full reboot coming!

    Not for just one or two characters, either. The entire DC Universe is going to be rebooted as of this September.

    In September, comic fans will be the recipients of 52 #1 issues as the entire line of DC Universe titles gets a relaunch. Everyone from Superman to Booster Gold will be getting a revamp, which includes redesigns and a "younger" continuity.
    Still trying to find a list of books and characters, but here's hoping they don't get rid of anything.

    A total of 50 costumes are being redesigned, supposedly. I honestly don't have a huge problem with this, so long as they don't something silly like bring back the black suited Superman.

    they might change superman storyline and remove the girl he loves and make lex good guy

    And they are free to do that if they want, but they more than likely won't. They aren't doing a full 100% revamp of everything, they're turning the clock back several years to bring the characters more in-line with a modern audience. On a side note, Lex has been good before in various Elseworld books. It flows better than you'd expect.

    It's possible they're doing this to make Comic books more appealing to a wider audience.

    Changing the costumes would be a start in doing that as it might be easier to relate to characters that don't look like a pack of skittles.

    I for one am happy, I enjoy reading comics. But I often get confused on things that have happened in old issues of comics. I just started reading comics this year.

    I don't think they're killing any off, unlike Marvel who has been on a super hero killing spree.

    No, we may even seen a few heroes returning as I understand it(Ted Kord? ): ). They're essentially rewinding the franchises to a certain point where they'll be easily accessible to those looking to get into the universe, with a few origin changes here-and-there. I'm honestly really looking forward to Superman, and if they do start up a new Blue Beetle line I will be all over that shit.

    To my understanding, there's an ongoing Batman Beyond series that actually has Static involved at several points. I've yet to look into it, but since I'm rather sick at the moment it may give me something to do.

    The first announcement to be revealed is a historic one to be sure; launching in September is Detective Comics #1 and, for the first time since 1940, Batman #1. This marks the first time that DC Comics has ever renumbered either title. Notably, Detective Comics is the book after which DC is named.
