i prefer Eden eternal Looks and gameplay feels less...harsh

Also a question about EE, does jumping serve a purpose or is just there "for the looks"?

Eden Eternal by far. Very well-polished all around. The game pacing is fair and switching classes is fun. Furthermore, every class is unique so there's actually a reason to switch it up. Also, full points for character/item design.

Eden Eternal would win if it had PvP.
It is getting battlefields at some point down the road, but it will be hard to compare to Iris Online battlefields.
On top of that, Iris has PK late game, while EE does not have PK at all.
They are both good, similar games. EE needs more PvP to be on par with Iris IMO. 95% of the reason to play most F2P MMORPG's on a near-long-term basis is to get max lvl, get the best gear, and show it off via PvP. Duels just don't cut it, and small battlefields would get boring really quick.
Iris Online is really well polished, it just lacks a good quantity of quests, as well as content later-game.
EE will need minimum 15v15 battlefields, as well as guildVSguild PvP features if it wants to be better than Iris in the long run.

I think they are both good games, and I think EE is slightly more polished than Iris, but I truely think that PvP becomes a major role in mid-game and even moreso end-game content when it comes to F2P MMORPGs. There are very few active F2P MMORPG's with no PvP or just duels. I think there was something like "Bright Shadow" that tried to do the anime-F2P-MMORPG gig without any PvP, and it died because of that.

Eternal Eden wins by a landslide in my book. Frankly the lack of PvP gives it the edge for me, it means the game balance won't be ruined by PvPers who manage to find abusive ways to use skills that end up getting them nerfed across the board (/glares at WoW).

You're basically saying that the fewer features a game has, the less that it can be messed up lol.
