Default Is There Something Wrong With My Computer?

For awhile now I've noticed that after playing games for a few hours, my computer starts to slow down. And I don't mean my computer slows down as in the game's causing it, I mean after awhile of playing my framerate starts to drop, my computer acts sluggish after I shut the game down and when I start up another game my framerate is oddly low.

At first I just ignored it, but as time went on I'm getting the feeling that something might be wrong. Here's some examples to show what I mean.

These first two pictures were taken out of the blue. I had been playing several games all day, but aside from that nothing special.

After taking the first two I then restarted my computer and took these two.

These final two are taken an hour or two after the last pair, the majority of the time between spent playing Everquest 2.

I'm not the most tech-savvy guy in the world, but I can not find anything that would cause my computer to be running so slowly. Is there something wrong that I'm not missing or am I just worrying over something normal?

Have you tested it with other games (besides EQ2 I mean)?

I haven't specifically tested it with other games, but it does occur with them. Before taking the first set of shots I didn't touch Everquest 2. The first time I noticed it happen was in Spiral Knights, when it just went into beta.

Looks good, i had a "similar" problem with just cause 2. The game was filling my system partition for some reason, i had to restart the computer after playing it.
It was also eating up all my ram, totally weird.

Before I left for work I tested out Counter Strike again, but this time I didn't have Steam running at all beforehand. Went down to 20 FPS again, so I don't think Steam is causing anything.
