    Default Old PC strategy game

    I don't know how old it is but I remember picking it up in a store with a friend 7-8 years ago.

    I thought the name of it was Outlaw but my googling skills are terrible or it isn't named like that.

    I don't remember pretty much anything besides it being futuristic type and having 2 resource types. Something like Warhammer 40k but without strategic points or any sort.

    I am pretty confident that the first part of the name of that game started with "Out-". If not "Out-" then definitely with a letter "O".

    And I really doubt it was a blockbuster. Might as well be the worst strategy game ever created. But back then it didn't even matter as long as there were pretty pictures and somehow enjoyed it. Not that I was aware of such a thing as "reviews" back then anyway.

    No. Not that old. It was somewhat decent in 3D.

    YES!@@!
    I loved that game.
    It was the first real-time strategy that I played. Oh my god - Leviathan was so pro (a player).

    @Everyone-else: FOR SHAME!

    @marcipaans:
    - were the two resources red ore and gold ore?
    - did you have to 'smelt' them into bars?
    - did your colonists starve if you didn't grow enough food for them in your "Agridomes"?
    - was the power-generator called a "Tokamak"?
    - Was the longest-range unit in the game called a "Thor's Hammer"?
    - Did the cheapest unit move faster than all other units (except scouts) and was called the "lynx"?
    - Could you turn-off your lights during night time to enter 'stealth' mode?
    - Were there two different factions, named "Plymouth" and, "Eden"?

    Nope... Never heard of it

    None of those are.

    @Phenoca

    I honestly can't answer those questions as I don't have such detailed memories

    Might be, might not. However, I am sure about the games name. It is possible that it isn't even a title from a big publisher, not even a global release. Maybe some local or national creation which never got to see the daylight abroad, in the whole world.

    Could it have been The Outforce? http://au.pc.ign.com/articles/166/166023p1.html
