Ugh, I knew this day would come. Yet still I'm not ready for it. But at least I get premium and can play the game whenever I want, so that's something. I'll just have to go buying character slots by the dozens, now. I suspect they'll be making most of their money off of them anyway.


But from the looks of things, super groups are going to die out almost instantly. If free users can't join them and premium users can't talk in super group chat, are they expecting there to be enough VIP members to make super groups active enough to join?

Massive understatement. And if going F2P does to City of Heroes what it did to Everquest 2, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it quickly becomes one of the most popular F2P MMOs out there.
