So... like the title says, is there anyway to try this game? I don't wanna pay 50 bucks without trying it. It looks pretty sweet and really fun. Also, it seems like most people playing it say the same, so that is a good sign.

Find someone that has a key. Sony is afraid of releasing an actual free trial because you can get to the end game in three days of just four hours a day. So yeah... If you know anyone that plays it ask them for their key. I gave mine to a friend already.

Well... I wont deny that combat is lacking, but reaching end game is only half the battle. Sorta like Guild Wars in a way. You cap and find out that you didn't even complete half the game. There are still your feets, investigations, collections, and cosmetic sets to gather. These unlock new skill points to further increase your characters powers with new weapons, or travel powers. Unlike the other hero games, travel powers actually have their own set of skills and advantages.

In DCUO once you level up to cap a wide variety of things are unlocked. First thing is Duos, these are rehashed content for the most part (instances you have done in the past while leveling up), but with some twists such as new bosses and difficulty. These give you marks for tier 1 equips.

Next you get new tierd hard mode alerts. Tier1 and Tier2, basically the Tier is the tier of armor that you will more than likely need to complete the instance. This is done in a four man group unlike the tradition five man runs. As four is the max party size, unlike the traditional mmo. These give you tier 2 marks for equips.

Then you get to raids. They require tier2 armor sets, and a bit of knowledge about player mechanics to complete. These give tier 2 marks as well. I heard this will change once the tier 3 sets come out in August (the unslated date).

Lastly you have PvP which has numerous battlefields, some being merely 4v4, others being 12v12 and can get pretty intense. Another key feature is the iconic battles which you take the role of a DC villain or hero (such as batman) and duke it out with their set powers. These give marks for PvP equips and PvP item currency.

Plus there are world events such as the Lantern Wars, Races, and a lot more that can be done.

Sadly even with all of this the game has basically a months worth of content unlike other games which you can roll one character and play for months on end.
