I live in New York and I personally am against gay marriage. Its not that I hate it, it's just that I dislike gay people. Dont get me wrong im not a homophobe that goes around yelling burn the gays but I would have rather prefer that New York didnt pass this.

But back to the seriousness here, its not that you happen to be judging them, you just don't like them and don't care to associate with them. And Racism is ******ed imo but if someone is racist and doesn't like me (Because I'm black) Well okay whatever so if someone doesn't like someone because they're a homosexual okay whatever. For example on a trip to the U.S last year I saw two homosexual men (really old guys) walking into a mall holding hands and I was like. WTF. Ew. And that was it. Which basically sums up how I feel about homosexualsThough its probably not the same for everyone

And about the gay people not being the same, at least where I live all the gay guys tend to be the flamboyant type sure there are probably those who are in the closet but yeah...And the lesbians my god All of them feel the need to dress like us men which I actually don't like lesbians more than the gay guys because its like wtf are you trying to look like a man for and they dress so ******edly with super baggy jeans and polo shirts that go down past their knees. I very rarely would see a lesbian that still looks like a female. And in that case they're more of a bisexual than anything.
Lastly I will admit that I would hate for one of my children to be a homosexual, I don't know how well I'd handle it when I get older but I can say that I probably wouldn't disown them though I would do my best to try and get em back on the straight path. : P
This is what I was trying to get at. Racism is looking at someone's skin color and disliking them or treating them differently because of it. You're looking at someone's sexuality and disliking them for it.
That's the very definition of hypocrisy, unless I'm missing something here...?

I don't hate gay people, neither am I against this, but Man/Women has been working for all these ages, and it still is, so I don't see the point for allowing two men or two women marrying.
Kids grow up with the idea of having a FATHER and MOTHER, and no offense to anyone, but I guess all of you have sometimes seen some of those shows about having two mothers or fathers, and the kid wasn't really that positive about it.

The point of marriage/serious relationships is to continue your family tree, it's how I look at it. Am I against gay marriage? No. Not even in the slightest, do I think it's a waste of time? Yes. Do I hate gays? Nope. I just don't see the logical sense, I guess Lesbian Marriage CAN conceive a child... but is it theirs? No.
That's how I look at it, do I have a problem with it? Nope. All the power to them.

Did that show also show you all the positive, working same sex parent families with children who are fine and happy with it? Do you disregard the failure of traditional families? Any type of couple can make good parents, it depends on the individuals. It only becomes a problem when society looks down on parents of the same sex.
You might have a kid who is unhappy that his parents are the same sex, he might get picked on for it, and he might be surrounded by the idea that it's 'wrong'. It's not too surprising that a kid could be uncomfortable about it. It's all individual situations, same sex families can function perfectly fine.
Man/woman has been working? Not trying to be offensive here, but that is so far from the issue. We don't choose who we fall in love with, and for some it's of the same sex. That is what it's all about.
