Magic World Online is still in close beta phrase. So far the game play is very interesting. YOu start off with choosing between two fractions: Empire and Dynasty; and each fraction starts in their own city. There are 4 classes to choose from: Warrior, Mage, Summoner, and Archer. After lvl 15, each class branch off to 2 subclass:
Warrior---> Beserker or Shadow Knight
Mage---> Fire or Ice
Summoner---> Necromancer or Illusionist
Archer---> Bounty Hunter or Stalker
The classes branches off to more sub-class after you reach lvl 50 and lvl 65. [The specific of the branching is located in this link http://mwo.enjoymmo.com/forum/thread-263-1-1.html]
The game play system is similar to other mmo. This game you can go solo or party up with new friends. It's recommended to party up at high level places where it gets mobby. There are skill books that you need buy or obtain from mob drops to learn skills as you level up and change you job.
What unique about this game is the auction system and the bot system. If you have tight schedule and doesn't have time to play much, the MWO Robot system can do the leveling for you. In addition, you can try out as many class as you like with the multi-client. So basically you just party up all you newbie and level them up together to test you what class you like best [AWESOME!].
As for selling, there is an auction house that you can drop your items off and have other player bid on it with an option of buyout.
There is the mount [8 different mount] feature that can enhance your character with different attributes according to the type of mount. The egg is obtainable through the premium mall or through boss drop. As the mount develop into an adult, you can ride it and train with it. Here is a link to the mount pictures http://mwo.enjoymmo.com/forum/thread-881-1-1.html
There will be new mounts out soon!
There is the Growing Weapon feature that you can make you weapon stronger by "feeding" it with other class type weapons.
There is also 6 kind of crafting that you can master: ore mining, alchemy, blacksmithing, tailoring, lumbering, and herb gathering.>_>
The game is more than what I expected to be. It's very interesting. The GM are terrific, very helpful and very active ingame and in forum. So far I am giving this game a thumb up and a rating of 8/10.
