    Default Rift..?

I have never played it,so is it worth the shot?

I see steam have a sale on it but for me its in Euros so I will not buy it from Steam..I need to search for site with dollars(USD)

And when you hit the level cap you just quit the game? Nothing to do just repeat the rifts for better gear and weapons?

When u get 50 in rift its fun factor depends on how you like your endgame. You can either A. PvP, or B. Raid.

Raiding is farily easy though; but after awhile it all seems the same.

I played rift for 3 months before i quit. Its a very fun game.

I couldnt enjoy it beyond the 2 months mark. it has decent gfx, interesting builds system, sadly its way too similar to WoW but feels a lot more cheap and generic.

they aimed at making a superb WoW clone, but they forgot to tack some personality on it. its the kind of game that after a while you dont feel motivated to log in, even if you already paid the month...

If I had to define it in one word, it would be "soulless".

The biggest problem i had with this game was... theres 2 starting zones (1 for defiant, 1 for guardian) and theres nothing special for different races, then the next zone you go in is unique to both if i recall correctly after that, it feels like you're doing the same quests regaurdless of race or faction..

Fun build system but you only need 1 of each class really and after you've leveled 1, you're basically seen and done it all and leveling just becomes straight up mind numbing and find yourself forced to level through other means (Invasions, dungeons, pvp..) because the quests are just so damn boring...

Worth the $10 price tag (10 Aus for me) to play out a month, not sure if i'd return anytime soon, a worthwhile try nonethless though..

If you liked WoW you will most likely enjoy rift to some extent, considering for all intents and purposes it is just a WoW clone, more of the same etc etc.

I had fun with it for the month or so I played but it was not worth the time imo.
