Question for the people that use a xbox360 controller on the PC

I'm planning to get this charge cable, without the battery pack. I don't know if the controller would work, so I'm asking it here ;D Will it work if I leave the battery connector out of the xbox360 and just use the charge cable? If not, I'll just buy a full Plug & play charge kit.

It will.
However, you will still need to have the receiver plugged in. The cable only powers the controller and does not send input/feedback.

Microsoft uses drivers, wich makes it possible to use a plug & play cable without a wireless reciever. I was first thinking about buying a wireless reciever, but those are 60euro, and I'm only gonna use it for Dragon nest... just a bit overkill. I've found a site were the charge kits are only 12euro for the sets though, so I'll just buy that. thanks for the help though ;D
