Reputation: 733Sometimes I hate myself for having rather high standards on PC builds. :/
A legit copy of windows 7 costs about 189USD, so it'd take quite a big bite out of actual gaming hardware.
I could try and see what I can get with AMD CPUs, but those today are substantially weaker in performance compared to Intel CPUs.
So it's up to you: *cough* windows, buy windows on top of what I have put together or take 189usd out of the budget. ><

Bob, you'd probably look at 568 or 608usd build from this list if you want a legit copy of windows.
Also, if you don't know what *cough* windows means, TPB will explain that. :x
edit: linky if you're interested in what I put together.

Reputation: 12Just a quick change on Snow's build.
Make sure that case has more than just a back fan.
Case airflow is very important.
I would get a cheaper power supply like this.

I would also go for cheaper RAM like this.

For thermal compound I would go for Arctic Cooling MX4
It's better than Arctic Silver 5 and MX4 is non conductive so you don't have to worry about spilling it on electronics and destroying your hardware.

For the hard drive I would go for a non OEM version if you don't have the sata cable already.
OEM versions only contain the hard drive and nothing else.
Thx I.D i wanted something cheaper so thanks
take in note that i want a new pc and ill not salvage any piece of my old pcFor the hard drive I would go for a non OEM version if you don't have the sata cable already.
