Diablo III will have a cash shop
Similar to F2P games it will have an cash shop to buy and sell items for real money. You can also cash out your earnings from the auction house straight into your bank account. It may even have free-to-play option too like WoW does now for its marketing strategy but no word yet.

Ok listen this is not a cash shop. Its called a real world money trade auction house. These are items players put up for sell not Blizzard. You dont have to buy these an can get them without having to do anything. This is purely your cash not blizzard. So in reality you could make a living off of Diablo 3.
There is a difference between cashshop an a player run real moeny auction house. Sorry for the rage just dont want people to get the wrong impression of Diablo from one person misconception of what the probably skimmed over an not read the full FAQ.

I wonder how much. I might try this game out just to see how much I can make a month. If its good money, I won't have to look for work after college lol.
It is a cash shop in the sense that you can buy and sell items using real cash. I also pointed out that a player can pocket the money into their bank account so yeah, it's not a cash shop like the ones we see in F2P games. It's a player driven cash shop. Or a real money auction house.
