Valve said it is a modified version of CSS basically. It still looks pretty cool, but honestly I would rather get it on console than pc since I have CSS. The game looks good I just wouldn't want it on pc.

Please nobody put stupid comments about how pc is better because I said I want it on console. I play and love pc and console equally.

This game is modified ya but its not gonna be CSS at all CSS was a horrible let down to most of the Cs 1.6 players because of how the game lacked in the game play side. I find CSS extremely easy and not even fun, really the main reason for CS:GO is for the competition side of CS bringing back tournaments and all that good stuff. Which it would be better to get on PC cuz console's cant make custom games prolly like Gun game, zombies, etc only pc can

it looks whack as hell to me..i have a burning hatred for console shooters though and the trailer said it was going to be "cross platform" so its probably going to have a bunch of ******ed things to help people who play shooters with their thumbs i swear if valve turns PC CS into a 1 hit kill, grenade spamming, helicopter calling joke i will never forgive them

i still think cs 1.6 is the most skill based shooter of its type because the maps are simple enough that you have a good idea where people are (so its not a as big of a campfest like on all these huge overcomplicated maps they have now on "modern shooters" also you have to work harder to hide yourself) and there's no gimmick bs like blood goo on your screen and regenerating health and all that bullcrap and 1 hitting knife kills and explosion spamming crap all over the place and "perks" and "levels"

anyway i wont get my hopes up, i don't really like CS Source much either for various reasons and chances are i wont like this either but we will see

If CS GO can be as difficult and as competitive as 1.6 then all is forgiven.

There is an adapter called XFPS for 360 that allows you to use mouse and keyboard on every game. Idk if there is one for PS3 tho
