I don't care what people do in the privacy of their own homes (um, apart from murderers and rapists and so on, obviously), and that extends to furries.

I kind of feel that some furries like to feel persecuted, and assume that everyone who isn't a furry is against them, though.

It rather annoys me that there are furries who feel "Persecuted" for being part of the fandom.

If you're going to go out of the way to show off the fact you're into furriness, then you'd better be prepared to either accept that people don't like what you're into and just deal with it or stand up for yourself, rather than crying and claiming the whole internet is against you.

Of that, it's better to just ignore, as, the majority of people who will say anything bad are just going to be trolls anyway and aren't really worth any mind.

I roll around these forums with a big *** furry signature and a related avatar, I would not warn anyone for bringing up criticisms of the fandom, as long as it doesn't step into insults or flaming and rarely even warn those that insult myself. (Let's face it, warning somebody who insults you is just lighting a powder keg.)

I see no reason why other furries cannot take the opinion that what other people say and think just does not matter. It really does seem that some just like the attention.

To continue this rant, those that compare disliking furries to racism.

There are 20,000 people incarcerated in a jail:

• 45% are there for drug related offenses
• 20% are there for ****
• 30% are there for homicide
• 5% are there for other reasons

Out of the 20% of inmates imprisoned for ****:

• 47% can draw stuff
• 37% can write stuff
• 23% can play an instrument and/or sing

You see? They're all mostly normal people.

This is why I like percentages.
