Are Steam games supposed to take like two days to download?

download couldnt be faster for me while using steam, im capped on max speed all the time. (2.3mb per second)

When you bought the games in a store here, you had the chance that the disc was completely busted. You seriously had to come back with your father before you had a refund (was 9 back then xD).
