You could switch to a public DNS, if your ISP is shit.
The NSA doesn't want you to, but you can also use the one by google, if you like the US of A listening in. (8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4)
Ofc it works around blocklists and resolves sites that are deemed illegal by your local regime and will thus probably either considered treason, or possible link to terrorism, or reasonable grounds for the suspicion of active participation in abusing children. (longer phrase = less openly fascist gov.)
