    Default PokeTCG Tournaments?

    i had no idea these existed, i wish i knew this when i was a kid, cuz i'd be all over it! I thought Magic the Gathering was the only hardcore TCG. I just saw this video and it blew mah mind. I dont even play TCG or pokemon for that matter, but im subbed to this guy and i just llike watching it cuz its just so ****in interesting! lol

    They've been around since pokemon TCG came out. I have a two-vhs set about the "Pokemon TCG Tournament scene". Pretty neat and funny. One of the kids the reporter interviewed claimed to have "like 10" charizards in his backpack, but didn't want to take them out because he'd be swamped with people asking for trades.

    Yeah, I've heard of them when I was a kid, but I don't think there were many of those around Singapore.

    Plus I was always too cheap/poor to really commit to TCGs. Paying $10+ back then for a starter deck would be like me spending $60+ now, haha.

    They did at least here. I used to go to them as well and practice for the tournaments. Didn't get all 8 badges though, shit got too expensive for my allowance. They held the tournament as well as practice days in a local shop here but people from all over the country came, it was fun fun fun fun.

    I just nostalgia'd all over the place, had forgotten all about Pokemon TCG.
