this is the first "smudge" sig i have made and i didn't use a tut at all (had to make like 20-30 layers for the outcome) rate outta 10 plz:


here's the smaller version i might submit for a SOTW contest(rules say that the sig gotta b this size):

(and i made text like that coz the theme for the SOTW is ninetendo so don't say the text needs to improve)

The black on the outside kills the feel. Whatever you did with the font it looks very bland.

I know the font is supposed to be old school, but it just doesn't fit, perhaps there's another Nintendoish one.

Yeah it's true, the render got distorted in the smaller ver., but since the bigger version is what you made originally, that's what I rated.

yea....smudge sigs look pwnsome but the empty black parts kill it-.- not much i could really do there but add some white vector brushes,which i should've done but i completely forgot about them x.x

and the bg has to b black to get that pwwnsom smudge look.i also tried a version where i did some more smudging on those empty black parts but it didn't look right
