Reputation: 195Fenix has a habit of talking out of his *** and claiming it as fact. Sure some players would have switched and maybe the style of hon suits him. However it is a massive stretch to claim most of the players have moved from lol. Lol has set itself apart from dota and hon to have a bigger market then just dota fans.
Reputation: 46No point in HoN anyways. It'll be dead once Dota 2 arrives.
I'm going to take a guess and say someone got his *** handed to him. Eheh.
Other than that, if you don't like it, whatever. Who cares what other people see in it?
I had a similar reaction to HoN and just uninstalled that shit. I don't bother with games I don't enjoy.

Reputation: 195Except you quoted it out of context and conveniently left out the rest of his post.
Then you go on to call other people fanboys while ironically talking about how awesome HoN is.
Classic case of pot calling the kettle black.
I'd suggest watching what you say carefully, I also suggest not saying you don't want to start a flame war while insulting others at the same time. Especially considering you are on thin ice.

on the titel?
and i never said its awesome...dont put words in my mounth.
The only thing i said was that LoL is more for newcomers (noobs)
and Dota/HoN are for superior.
btw i talked about dota/hon...2 games!
just stop quoting..we had allready more than 1 discussion about
this and I know your opinion about LoL and all this shit like you
know my opinion olaph. Its just useless to go on with all this hate

about arguing about swimming."
Reputation: 17I guess the question would be more, if the person likes PvP or not. If the OP doesn't like PvP in general, then LoL isn't the game for him/her.
Next step would be, if the person likes PvP, where technically everyone has equal chance of winning (no gear-dependency, etc.). I noticed tons of people who like PvP only if they have 90% chance on winning stuffs, but when they have to actually fight to win, some people just don't enjoy it.
The first games of LoL probably do not give correct impression of the game, because most people you will play with are either a) total beginners b) played other MOBA-games / using alt-account. So the teams are really heavily unbalanced in terms of skills. As you play more, the teams usually start out balancing slightly more, altho I still seem to find lots of differences between different players at lvl 30.
Reputation: 57What do you see in making a thread about it?
So that you can throw a rebuttal at anyone who happens to actually like League of Legends? All I see is piss all over your posts, TS.
What I hate the most on the internet is people who watch a video, or play a game 1 day for a few hours and think that they know everything about the game and for some reason think they can argue with an informed, undisputable opinion, that their opinion is greater than anyone else's.
I clicked on this thread hoping to see a reasonable argument towards how LoL could be improved, because it does need to be improved; not a poorly typed, 3-line rant about how much your first 7 games sucked.
2 tips of advice for you, topic starter.
1. If you don't like it, uninstall and QQ forever.
2. If you want people to agree with you, go complain to your IRL friends. I'm sure they'll be happy to listen to your problems.
BTW, congrats on having an elitist attitude out to boost your e-peen after only 7 games.
"Lol, I won 7 matches 2 ez. This game dum wai I play? I 2 pr0 for dem"
gg.
Reputation: 10What do people see in League of Legends?
Well, they see a casual and accessible game (read: easy).
I don't care how many tournaments or professional players there are, it is exactly how I described.
LoL is way to easy compare to other MOBA out there, so people will stick to it more than other moba.
About community onrpg has the wor... anyway
Ah` i cant wait for dota2.
Reputation: 10Didnt think this would cause so much hubbubalu, Really no ones answered me yet. All youve said is you dont know why you play it, you just do. Interesting maybe this could be more addicting then WoW maybe.
For the record, i love PvP, But Playing in LoL didnt seem like PvP because my enemys would run behind a tower/shit loads of mobs.
Reputation: 25I play video games, because they're fun.
DoTa and all of it's children suck. If I want a RTS I'll go play one. If I want real PVP I'll play Guild wars or something.
I don't call ganking and running away if you can't one-shot your enemy PVP. Sorry kids.
Reputation: 21half a billion dollar company doesnt really give a sh** about what you think of the game :/. and what did you expect from a MOBA? you thought we would get connected to some virtual world or something? :/
your just raging, cause you dont understand the basic concept of the game :/
just /uninstall please. we have more then enough people like you in LoL
Hey everyone. Just thought I would mention that people have opinions. Not everyone can like the same thing. Also, using over used words like "This is just" or using words like bad, terrible, shitty, etc, is not an actual explanation. It is possible to form sentences that do not have to say anything negative about another poster.
Reputation: 10Every new hero that Riot puts out has:
1. A gap closer
2. A defensive ability
3. A stun/slow
And that is why the game is terrible. No originality in any champs becuase Riot is scared if they make a hero without those 3 abilities the kids that actually like the game won't understand how to play.

LoL is far from "easymode" when you start climbing the ladder.
However the game mechanics itself are easier, you need to worry less about micro-managing and more about perfect execution and teamwork.
One could say that LoL is more of a "macro-moba" and Dota/HoN are more "micro-moba".
Man, the fanboys be swarmin' me. Typical insults with no actual counter-argument. I guess the truth hit a little too close to home.
